Bio of Minister Virginia W. Turner

Minister Virginia Williams Turner is the fourth child born to Rev. Dr. Hubert Sam and Lula Mae McGill Williams. She was born in Hemingway South Carolina, but moved to Winston-Salem NC with her parents three months after her birth. She attended the Forsyth County School System. Minister Turner was blessed to give birth to her son, Jermaine, on June 25,1974. She is blessed with three beautiful grandchildren and one precious goddaughter, Brandi. She is a retiree of Sara Lee Hosiery where she supervised for the last ten years of service.

Minister Turner met the love of her life in 1992, and in 1995 married her best friend and lover Elder Claude C. Turner. Together they have four children: Jermiane, Eric, Jacinta and Tonya, seven grandchildren and one goddaughter. Minister Turner has always felt a need to minister the love of Jesus Christ to others.

Her ministry was implemented and ordained by God at a very young age. She answered her call to a broader ministry in September of 2003 after much counseling with the District Elder Ricky A. Pouncy and her beloved husband, Bishop Claude Turner.

Minister Turner serves on several auxiliaries of the organization and continues to seek guidance from God concerning His will for her life. She is an employee of Novant Health and an undergrad student at High Point University seeking a BS Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in management. Minister Turner enjoys sewing, reading, and the outdoors. Her favorite song is “Bless the Lord My Soul” and her favorite scripture to quote is “Oh Magnify the Lord with me and let Us exalt his name together” for He is Good!
